The Immokalee Foundation recently announced that Lisa Marquette has joined their staff in the new position of Director of Philanthropy and Planned Giving.

A recent transplant to Southwest Florida, Marquette comes to The Immokalee Foundation with over 17 years of development experience—specifically in planned giving.

She began her highly successful development career at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, serving their student population from 2007 to 2018. Next, she assumed the role of Development Director at Volunteers in Service to the Elderly, a social services nonprofit in Lakeland, Florida.

Marquette’s background in nonprofit philanthropy, gift planning, and higher education—as well as her work at a social services nonprofit—positions her to advance the mission at The Immokalee Foundation.

As Director of Philanthropy and Planned Giving, Marquette is committed to helping supporters establish their legacy while transforming the lives of Immokalee’s youth. She will provide her expertise and individualized guidance in selecting the planned giving vehicle that is most meaningful to them and aligns with their philanthropic goals. Planned giving opportunities include:

  • Charitable Trusts
  • Life Insurance
  • Appreciated Securities
  • Real Estate

“Naples has a rich history of giving. We are particularly grateful to those who proactively plan to safeguard their legacy,” said Noemi Y. Perez, President and CEO of The Immokalee Foundation. “As so many of our region’s success stories began with access to noteworthy postsecondary education, our mission to support the educational needs of Immokalee’s deserving young people continues to resonate throughout the community. With Lisa’s expertise and support, it’s now even easier to include the students we support in your estate plans. Your legacy couldn’t be in better hands—it resides with the leaders of tomorrow.”
